This Sunday, as part of the Stoneygate Christmas Market, Fothergill Wyatt hosted fun Christmas arts and crafts activities for children in aid of Oxfam Unwrapped. The occasional shower didn’t put visitors off and the event was well attended all round with many of the local independent shops open plus a 樂威壯
Santa’s Grotto and a range of other stalls offering food, drink, handmade gifts and a variety of entertainment throughout the day.

FW was incredibly busy with well over 200 people visiting the office to make Christmas paper chains and colour Christmas pictures. The mini Christmas trees were particularly popular all carefully crafted with the aid of the Fothergill Wyatt team. In addition, most of the businesses FW regularly work with made generous donations and friends gave delicious homemade mince pies to add to the festive fun. A particular thank you to Carve, Castle Print Brokers, Niche Magazine, James Fairey Chartered Surveyors, Industrial Cleaning Experts Ltd, Plug Interiors, Simple Life Property Maintenance and Cleaning Services, Urban Fox, Ideal Property Maintenance, Cleaning Angels, All About You – Life Solutions and Brindley Building Services for their much appreciated support.

As a result, we have raised to date a staggering £600+ and donations are still coming in! Fothergill Wyatt are very proud to announce that all monies raised through these activities and donations will be given to Oxfam unwrapped – and these gifts really will ‘change lives’. We now have the pleasure of deciding how much of the money raised we will allocate to buying some pigs or maybe a farmyard, provide safe water or help beat UK poverty and so much more. If you would like to suggest which initiatives we should spend the money raised on, visit www.oxfamunwrapped.com to see what is possible. Then let us know via Facebook, twitter or email your thoughts before Friday 8th December.

Our ‘House that Jack built’ completion also proved very popular. We were delighted to welcome Inaaya (aged 4yrs) back to the office this week to collect her prize of a Gingerbread House making kit.

Thank you to all who visited and contributed to this event and we look forward to seeing you again at next year’s fundraiser. If you can’t wait until then and are interested in property – Lettings or Sales – please do not hesitate to pop into the office anytime or contact us at info@fothergillwyatt.com or 0116 270 5900.
